Ka Huna massage uses long, deep pressure strokes and movements applied with both the forearms and hands, rather than the pointed, isolated pressure you may be familiar with from other forms of massage. This holistic therapy can align your spiritual, creative, emotional and physical energies, leaving you with a profound sense of calm and healing.
In our peaceful massage studio, soft music is played as the therapist moves around your body, working with energy while applying flowing soft and deep tissue massage in rhythm with the music. The rhythmic strokes promote a deep sense of relaxation, even as strong therapeutic pressure can be applied as needed. You’ll be amazed by the calm and contentment that Ka Huna massage will promote.
Originating in the South Pacific, Ka Huna was a Hawaiian massage used during Rites of Passage as a transformational massage and healing system. It is also known as Lomi Lomi, which in the Hawaiian language, means 'to knead' or 'to make soft'. And when applied to your body, as softness replaces tension, you will find that your stress simply melts away.
